our concept turned into reality with brute. armed with reinforcements in the toe, heel and ankle, we have an increased gauge of leather by 0.2 mm to improve abrasion resistance. the footbed is constructed from memory foam to provide better comfort.
we understand your struggle for convenience and hence the zipper on the side. the side zipper which is ykk, gives you quick, hassle-free access. slide in, zip up, and go.
while also maintaining the true aesthetic of a combat boot with antique gold hardware, tuck-in laces, and a clean modern silhouette.

I have wide feet. I was advised by Trip Machine to go up one size. That worked! I'm enjoying the zipper function. So much easier than laces! Of course the quality is top notch like everything they make.
I purchased these leather boots last week, and they are easily the best boots I’ve ever owned. Working in zoos and jungle environments means my footwear has to survive intense daily abuse—from heavy mud and standing water to rough, uneven terrain and dense undergrowth. These boots delivered right out of the box. They are exceptionally comfortable for long shifts on your feet, incredibly well-made, and completely waterproof as advertised. If you work outdoors in demanding, wet conditions and need reliable support, look no further. Highly recommend buying a pair . So many people comment on my boots .

It took me nearly six months to procure these boots, and they have proved entirely worth the perseverance. The fit and finish are superlative, the leather is remarkably impervious to water, and their upkeep is delightfully unexacting. After scarcely a month of wear, they have already acquired a splendid patina, assuming an ever more rugged and indomitable countenance with each passing day. My sole reservation concerns the stitching, it is perfectly serviceable, yet falls marginally short of the otherwise impeccable craftsmanship.

Used the boots for riding Ladakh circuit. It developed a crack on both the boot as visible in the photo. After a single use only the shine was gone and plenty of folding crease have appeared.
I like the quality and the fit. Perfect for motorcycle with saftey and to mention this boots has style point too. Trip Machine has crafted their products so well. This is my first purchase, I am already thinking of some more motorcycle accessories.
Less than one year and this happens with the zip on both legs. I just need those fixed. Don't want ugly stitches from a street cobbler. Otherwise it's one of my best pair of boots
The heel protector on the left shoe has folded internally with no way to rectify it and now instead of protecting my heel, it digs into it
I really enjoyed the boot, it looks nice and functions decently. For 6+months was all good then the zipper stopped closing properly. I tried reaching out with the team but they said it was out of warranty period and repair charges/transportation must be covered by me. But still they didn't give me a quote even after multiple follow ups. With the price I paid and tag line of built like tank, it didn't live up to the standard. But still am happy with the boots and hope it will continue to accompany me.

Toe on left boot developed an indent or collapsed, contrary to the claim by the manufacturer. This, when raised with the team and highlighted within 10 days of usage or buying. They refused to acknowledge it and refuted by counter claiming that i met with an accident and this is a result of that accident and not an quality issue. Tone on the phone was dismissive and arrogant, i felt like i am not a customer but owe them money. Which, honestly made me make an extra effort to write here and on amazon both, so that i can forewarn others on the possibilities of quality issues not being addressed. Very disappointed with the company, never coming back, but more so by the arrogance.

The water damage to leather and not abrasion resistant the outer leather getting eroded with water and abrasion.

Excellent fit, premium leather quality, neat stitching, and a top-notch finish.
Boots look great, fit great. Points to improve: inner sole comfort, main sole. I found walking in them quite difficult which is expected for a riding boot. The main sole toughness might be an issue for a heavier person like me as I saw some wear and tear in the short period I used them.

Review: Trip Machine Brute Black Boots Trip Machine boots have been on my wish list for over three years, and I finally picked up the Brute Black Boots. I’ve always loved boots - tall, short, rugged, refined - and the Brutes stood out for that smart zipper system. Putting on and taking off boots has always been the part I hate, but the zippers make it effortless. The looks? Beautiful. Understated but bold. They pair just as well with denims as they do with formals, and they carry that solid, well-built vibe Trip Machine is known for. Now for the one con. The toe box is on the narrower side, and since I have wide feet (especially the right one), it does start to hurt a bit by the end of the day. I believe these use a TPU toe box, which might explain the stiffness. They have gotten more comfortable over time, so I’m hoping they’ll continue to ease up with wear. Still, something to keep in mind if you have broader feet. Break-in aside, these boots are everything I hoped for - tough, good-looking, and built with intent. Finally happy to have a Trip Machine boot in my collection, right next to the rest of their gear I already swear by. Stylish, functional, and worth the wait.

First of all i would like to appreciate tripmachine for this wonderfully crafted product. I was hunting for my first riding shoes, I searched online and even at stores but I was not convinced with the options available in the market, untill I came across trip machine. To be Frank I was impressed with shoes going through its specifications and the way it looked in pictures, but was still little hesitant to buy these boots. Cutting it short, i finally bought the boots and was happy to know that it's exactly how I had wished for. I have rode around 400-500km with these shoes so far on roads and trails as well. Talking about safety standards, it has saved my ankle during the fall, which could have been a severe. Riding comfort is equally great. And lastly I liked it's rugged old school look. There is some scope of improvement with shoe protector though. I felt it was overpriced and it is little annoying when you need to clean the strap beneath your feet almost every day, which might impact it's durability as well.

Excellent quality, super thick leather ,after wearing them around the house for two weeks to wear them in ,now super comfortable. Having some back issues, I find the zip makes taking them on and off so much easier.
These have become my everyday urban riding shoes to work. It does the job of short ride protection as well as retains full day style. I have got a lot of compliments at work with these boots and they pass off as a casual/formal dress code. Pros: Great quality and great styling. Easy to get into and out. Worked fine during rains. Cons: The biggest con is the toe box size. It's quite narrow. If you wear it the entire day and move around continuously with these boots, the narrow toe box starts to bite into the sides of your feet/toes. The toe box really needs to be more wider. Wish they made a wide toe box version similar to barefoot shoe brands. The stitching on loop at the back of the shoe that you use to pull to get your feet in is quite poor. The cloth material stitched to the leather loop started to came off and eventually, I had to cut off the cloth material from the loop. Hopefully these would last for a long while. If tripmachine team does look at this review, please do something about the toe box width. Narrow toe boxes just squeeze your toes. Might contribute to something like a bunion feet.

Absolutely love these boots! The moment I saw them, I knew they were the right choice. The rich brown color looks fantastic and pairs well with almost any outfit. They are built like a tank—solid, durable, and clearly made to last a lifetime. On the inside, they are remarkably comfortable, while the exterior feels tough and rugged, offering excellent protection and durability. The side zipper is a thoughtful feature, making it easy to slip them on and off without the hassle of constantly re-tying the laces. I’m an old customer of Trip Machine, but this was my first time trying their shoes. Honestly, there’s nothing like them in the market. Most riding shoes can’t be worn in daily life, but with these, you won’t even realize they’re riding shoes because the comfort is on another level. Absolutely love them ♥️
My 2nd pair of Brute in 3 months, and couldn’t sing the praises louder. Very comfortable for all-day use, and the safety features work really well. I accidentally had my side stand of my Triumph Street Twin fell on my left leg’s big toe. The front metal / protector absorbed the impact and bent towards inside a bit, bear in mind the bike weighs over 200 kgs. I stood there for a moment thanking God for saving my toe and if not for the protector, I would have lost it. At the same time, it was also heartbreaking seeing the shoe dented. Took it off, push the metal protector from the inside and it got back into the original shape. In conclusion, these boots are comfortable, look rugged and do what they say on the tin. Kudos Trip Machine for such a premium product.
This is how the Boots look after a 500km monsoon ride (rain, slush), cleaned and conditioned with leather cream and this was the first trip with this boots. The quality, comfort, grip and more importantly the convenience of the zipper is brilliant and looks great as well. oozes quality and well crafted product that will last !
The quality, fit and finish prove that this is a carefully designed and handcrafted product. I love the soft leather and after 2-3 times of wearing and walking in it for many hours on end, it has become pliable and has moulded itself to the shape of my feet. It does take a little bit of adjustment and recalibration to use the gear lever. But that is down to riding often. Easy to do that when It looks like a million bucks too.
Look great, are comfortable, The quality of leather is fine but NO WAY IT IS BUILT LIKE A TANK. I just wore it 2 times and the stitching has already started to come out. THE Sole has also started to thread away.. Going by this , this won't last 1 single ride. A BIG NO to investing such h HUGE AMOUNT. DO NOT BUY I have contacted the customer care... Let's see.

First weeks were bad. With the protection digging into the skin, got few shoe bites in the initial stages. Then it got better as the leather wears in , good quality. Better fit and feel than the viattera counterpart. Leather is easily scoffed and its scratches won't come out, I think some sort of wax is needed to resort it. If somebody know what to use, pls tell me.
The boots are just breaking in and feel really solid. There is ample protection and leather feels good quality. There is inner liner to provide water resistance. Overall happy with the purchase.
Got the pair with great excitement and went for a biking trip the next day. Very comfortable and I can wear the pair the whole day without any discomfort. Looks great, and the patina became obvious even after a few hours of riding, which makes them lovelier. Will definitely consider buying another model if they come with zipper. Kudos for the great product with better price.
