WHAT WE STAND BEHIND

If something goes wrong because of the way we made it, we'll make it right.

Our warranty covers genuine manufacturing and material defects, including:

  • Stitching or seam failures caused by faulty workmanship.
  • Defective buckles, rivets, zippers and supplied hardware.
  • Structural failures resulting from manufacturing defects.
  • Defective leather, lining or materials affecting intended use.
  • Eligible sole bonding and construction defects in riding boots.

Depending on the issue, we'll repair the product, replace the affected component, or replace the product.

WHAT ISN'T COVERED

Our products are made to be used, ridden and aged with you. But not every mark or sign of wear is a manufacturing defect.

Our warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear, including gradual sole and tread wear.
  • Scratches, scuffs, creases, colour changes and natural leather patina.
  • Damage caused by accidents, crashes, falls or impacts.
  • Incorrect installation, mounting, overloading or misuse.
  • Damage caused by exhausts, hot surfaces or moving motorcycle parts.
  • Damage resulting from improper cleaning, chemicals, solvents or prolonged moisture exposure.
  • Damage caused by modifications or third-party accessories where they contributed to the issue.

Leather tells a story. The marks your gear picks up along the way are part of its journey, not necessarily a defect.

Every warranty claim is assessed based on the nature and cause of the reported issue.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

When does my warranty start?

Your warranty begins on the original delivery date. Exchanging, repairing or replacing a product does not restart the warranty period.

Are purchases from authorized retailers covered?

Yes. Applicable standard warranty coverage is available with valid proof of purchase. Contact your authorised retailer first; Trip Machine may assess genuine manufacturing claims directly if the retailer cannot resolve them.

Can I extend my warranty to 3 years?

Yes. Eligible motorcycle luggage and riding boots purchased on or after 1 October 2026 qualify for an additional year when successfully registered within 15 days of delivery, subject to the policy terms.

Are purchases made before 1 October 2026 covered?

Purchases made before 1 October 2026 remain subject to the warranty terms applicable at the time of purchase. They are not eligible for the new extended warranty programme.

Does the warranty cover normal leather ageing?

No. Natural creases, scratches, color variations, fading and patina are characteristics of leather, not manufacturing defects.

Who pays for shipping on an approved claim?

For domestic approved claims, Trip Machine bears the applicable warranty-resolution shipping costs as instructed by the team. International replacement shipments may involve customs duties, taxes or other local charges.

What happens if my product is discontinued?

Trip Machine will assess suitable repair or replacement options. Where a complete product is discontinued and no suitable replacement is available, store credit equal to the original purchase value may be offered under the policy.
