description
the life of an outlaw is dictated by how much of a departure is their way of life from the norms of the world. it is someone who doesn’t want to be caged in by the rules of man. the outlaw saddlebag is then, something that shouldn’t be made to follow any rules.
it is a messenger bag gone rogue into the realm of motorcycles and easy riding. it is still a conventional messenger by heart, if it drank beer for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
forged with our classic old school design philosophy, that believes in crafting goods for years of use and abuse. the inception of the bag then, stems from an outlaw thought in todays world of fast fashion.
the saddlebag packs more than a weekend getaway. it can also be used as a daily messenger bag and can accommodate a 15” laptop. the laptop compartment is located in the front to prevent it from damage when mounted on a motorcycle. the bag also contains a few internal pockets to stack in small items and hang your keys.
the bag mounts of almost all motorcycles with a rear frame. we recommend having a pannier stay though it is not mandatory.

more than weekends - daily messenger bag with protected laptop compartment

My first experience with the Trip Machine Outlaw saddlebag was excellent. The leather arrived in perfect condition, the finish was very good, and the overall quality fully met my expectations. That positive experience was precisely what encouraged me to order a second Outlaw saddlebag.
Unfortunately, my experience with the second purchase, Order #112087, was completely different. The leather arrived heavily wrinkled, especially when compared with the smooth and well-finished leather of the first saddlebag. In addition, the synthetic rain cover was already cracked, and the elastic band designed to hold it around the saddlebag had lost its tension.
At the time, I urgently needed both saddlebags and was therefore unable to return the product. I also decided to wait before writing this review because I was genuinely frustrated and wanted to give a fair and balanced assessment.
The Outlaw saddlebag is a well-designed product and can clearly offer very good quality, as my first order demonstrated. However, the condition of this second order shows a serious lack of consistency and quality control. I had been considering purchasing other Trip Machine products, but after this experience, I am currently more inclined to look for alternatives.
A real shame, as my initial impression of the brand had been very positive.
I really liked the tail and tank bag, so I bought to match that. For the gb350 and so that the bag can hang low, i will get a saddlebag stay, but it is possible to organize the straps so it’s sitting a bit higher and then there wouldn’t be need for it.
When not using the bags, i keep the straps in place but then just hook them onto a loop - i’m looking for a better looking solution for that (it would be annoying to have to remove the seat every time i use it) but for the moment it’s okay.
now i have to decide between the rear or duffel bag!
Guys, the bag is really cool. Strong and beautifully handcrafted, looks amazing mounted on my RE Classic. International shipping has been slightly delayed, but overall decent service. Good work! Thanks and cheers from Italy! Gianluca
I use these on my 1969 Laverda 750 GT, they comfortably hold enough luggage for trips of a few days. The quality is excellent, with thick leather, solid brass fittings, and strong stitching. These saddlebags really look the part on a vintage or classic bike, 10 out of 10 from me!
The look is great. The buckles are a little hard to work with and the mounting straps do not make it easy to get on and off of the bike. It does what it is supposed to though.
Quick delivery and great quality bags! Matches beautiful with the Trip machine Wingman side panels. Made a little modification to be able to mount the bags on my existing panier frame.
I am very pleased with these Outlaw saddlebags - beautifully made, match the duffle bag and suit the bike well.
Trip Machine gear is very high quality and versatile luggage. Very highly recommended.
Very nice bags, I reinforced the back with sheet metal so I can use them on the bolt on system on my bike. Bags are great quality and add a lot of character. Leather finish isn’t 100% some wrinkles and discoloration in spots. But very happy with them!
I ordered my Outlaw Bags a few month ago, at the same time I ordered my new bike, a Honda GB 350 S, a new bike for Europe, but quite well known in India.
I was sceptical about the bags at first and was worried that I may have made a mistake, but they only took me 15 minutes to install and they are very robust and stable, also, they look fantastic and make a good looking bike look excellent.
I really like how the bag looks. Tobacco is perfect for my alos cafe-seat. Im also very happy that you can mount the bag comparetively high on the seat so you dont get paranoid that your bag may hit the wheel.
The leather is extremly thick and stiff (at the beginning).
Finally ab bag that doenst Ruin the modern classic look of my bonneville spirit:)))
The quality of the bag is very good. But the included straps are far too long and flattering around in the wind. Also the combination with the wingman bag and the trip machine seat doesn´t fit, as you can see on the photos.
The support couldn´t supply any help for these problems.
Love the Bag. Look- tough with the thick leather construction and roll-top design make it ideal for various uses, and plan to use it for weekend getaways, daily commuting, and even long-distance touring. The Bag fit my Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 well. Looking forward for more Tripmachine products in future!
Purchase the Outlaw saddle bag in cherry. Arrived super fast. Loved the packaging and the bag in fantastic . Excellent quality and genuine craft feel throughout. Type of bag you can take anyplace. Looks and feels real quality.
The bag looks very nice and the leather is strong. I believe it will last very long. One issue is the way it installs. I don’t like those belts around the seat, so I try to fit them under the seat and it works. Now it’s perfect for the look and the function.
Love the bags! Much better than the OEM product. Suits exceptionally well with my motorcycle. But one thing though, I hope those additional extensions for the mounting belt can be made with something tougher than canvas(?). I need those for my motorcycle otherwise the bags will be hanging too high from my pannier rails.
Good shipping service, 4 days to Italy, but I had to pay customs duty. Good packaging and excellent goods.
I installed “Outlaw Saddlebag” on my Bonneville T100, I’d had preferred to receive the assembly instructions because inside bags there are different types of belts.
Very well made bag, complete with accessories, beautiful on classic style bikes like my Moto Guzzi V7. However, I do not recommend buying from Italy due to customs fees. Better look for another seller.
The strap placement is super inconvenient.. and I hope u added a zipper inside the roll top . Another aspect is to have some small pouch ( other than a separator for iPad etc ) . If it’s a motorcycle bag then it should be more secure with stuff inside . I’ve bough the pannier the mini pannier and the outlaw saddle bag . This feedback has been coming to you since 7 years .. so there’s no question about love for your products but the feedback is going to dead ears ! That’s all
